Albania's GDP growth speeds up to 4% y/y in Q3

On a quarterly comparison basis, Albania's economy expanded by 2.33% in the July-September period, the statistical office, INSTAT, said in a quarterly report.

The sectors that mostly contributed to the country's economic growth in the third quarter of 2022 were arts, entertainment and recreation services, construction, trade, transport, accommodation and food services, real estate and information and communication.

In 2021, Albania's GDP grew by 8.54% after decreasing by 3.48% in 2020, according to earlier estimates by the national statistical office.
