Albania's economic confidence index up in March

Increased confidence in industry, trade and services contributed to the rise, Bank of Albania said in a monthly business and consumer confidence survey.

The industry confidence indicator rose by 3.6 percentage points (pp) in March, whereas the construction confidence inched down by 0.9 pp.

The services confidence indicator rose 6.4 pp in March to stand 12.3 pp above its historical average. The trade confidence indicator increased by 2.7 pp, standing at 3.4 pp above the historical average.

The consumer confidence index increased 1.4 pp, standing a few inches above its historical average.
