Albania's economic confidence index falls in Nov

Decreased confidence in industry, services and trade sectors prevented the economic sentiment indicator from rising despite increased confidence in construction, the Bank of Albania said in a monthly business and consumer confidence survey.

The industry confidence indicator inched down by 0.6 pp in November. Conversely, the construction confidence indicator increased by 4.4 pp, coming 20 pp above the historical average.

The services confidence indicator declined by 4.4 pp in November to stand 12.3 pp above its historical average. The trade confidence indicator decreased by 1.7 pp to come 8 pp above its historical average.

The consumer confidence index edged down by 0.7 pp, coming at 2 pp above its historical average.
