Albania's Autovizion Al seeks permit to build two small HPPs near Korca

The company plans to build two HPPs of up to 2 MW each on a tributary of Shkumbin river near the southeastern city of Korca, the energy ministry said in a statement.

Albania produces over 90% of its electricity from HPPs, most of it from three power plants along the Drin river, in the northern part of the country.
