Albanian, Russian ops boost PHX Energy Services' intl revenue

TIRANA (Albania), November 1 (SeeNews) – Canada-based PHX Energy Services said its third-quarter international revenue increased by 84% to $10 million (7.7 million euro) from $5.4 million a year earlier, on the back of operations in Albania and Russia.

Albanian, Russian ops boost PHX Energy Services' intl revenue

International operations generated 12% of the corporation’s consolidated revenue in the third quarter of 2012 as compared to 7.0% in the third quarter of 2011, PHX Energy Services said in a statement on its website on Wednesday.

Phoenix Albania continued to operate on five consecutives rigs for most of the July-September period and it was the most active international area for the corporation.

Since commencing operations in 2008, PHX Energy has successfully drilled in excess of 258 wells in Albania.

PHX Energy Services, through its subsidiaries, provides horizontal and directional technology and drilling services to oil and natural gas producing companies in Canada, the US, Albania, Peru, Russia, and Colombia.
