October 19 (SeeNews) - Albanian power grid operator OSHEE said it will complete a $200,000 (169,000 euro) project for the reconstruction of a 35 kilowatt (kW) power line in southern coastal Albania in early November.
The power line connecting Bistrica 2 hydropower plant with the southern coastal city of Saranda, built in the 1970s, will guarantee the security of power supply to the area, OSHEE said on Wednesday. The operator has focused on the coastal holiday areas and the rural south to help the further development of agro-tourism.
Works have been recenly resumed after an interruption for the tourisy season.
