Albanian banking sector maintains NPL ratio at 11.2% in July – c-bank

TIRANA (Albania), September 10 (SeeNews) – The non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of Albania's banking system stood at 11.2% at the end of July, unchanged month-on-month, official figures showed on Tuesday.

However, the NPL ratio at the end of July was lower on an annual comparison basis, according to figures published by Bank of Albania. The country's banking system had a NPL ratio of 13.4% in July last year.

The data refers to the loan portfolios of 13 banks operating in Albania.
