December 22 (SeeNews) - Albania will enforce a curfew from 8:30 pm to 6 am during the upcoming holidays to prevent a potential increase in Covid-19 cases, local media reported quoting health minister Ogerta Manastirliu.
The curfew will be effective from December 24 to January 4, Albanian Daily News quoted Manastirliu as saying on Monday.
Non-essential shops, bars and restaurants will be closed during the curfew, the report reads.
Albania has so far confirmed a total or 53,425 Covid-19 cases, including 1,098 deaths, health ministry data shows.
