Albania to auction 6.5 bln leks (46.5 mln euro) in 5-yr T-notes

TIRANA (Albania), October 31 (SeeNews) – Albania will auction 6.5 billion leks ($60.2 million/46.5 million euro) in five-year Treasury notes on November 6, the finance ministry said.

Albania will auction 1.5 billion leks in T-notes with an indicative fixed coupon of 8.6% paid twice a year – in May and November, the finance ministry said in a statement published on its website.

Albania will also auction 5.0 billion leks in T-notes with a variable coupon, paid in May and November.

The T-notes will mature on November 8, 2017.

In the previous auction, held on October 30, Albania sold 9.6 billion leks in three-month and one-year Treasury bills at an average weighted yield of 5.05% and 6.62%, respectively.
