Albania to auction 10.8 bln leks (77.4 mln euro) in 6-mo, 1-yr T-bills

TIRANA (Albania), October 4 (SeeNews) – Albania will auction 10.8 billion leks ($100.1 million/77.4 million euro) in six-month and one-year Treasury bills on October 9, the finance ministry said on Thursday.

The country will offer 5.7 billion leks of six-month T-bills and 5.1 billion leks of one-year debt paper, the finance ministry said on its website.

The six-month T-bills will mature on April 11, 2013 and the one-year T-bills will mature on October 10, 2013.

In the previous auction, held on September 25, Albania sold 2.9 billion leks of three-month T-bills at an average weighted yield of 5.08% and 6.7 billion leks of one-year government securities at an average weighted yield of 6.88%.
