November 26 (SeeNews) - Albania's central bank said on Thursday it will auction 10.5 billion leks ($114.2 million/75.7 million euro) in three-month and twelve-month Treasury bills on December 2.
The Bank of Albania, which offers the T-bills on behalf of the Finance Ministry, will auction 4.15 billion leks worth of three-month T-bills and 6.35 billion leks worth of 12-month T-bills.
The three-month T-bills will mature on March 4 and the 12-month government paper will mature on December 2, 2010.
Albania's three-month T-bills produced a weighted average yield of 6.33% in the last auction held on November 3. The twelve-month T-bills produced a weighted average yield of 9.27% in the last auction held on November 17.
The Bank of Albania has auctioned Treasury bills worth 337.92 billion leks since the beginning of this year. It auctioned T-bills worth 373 billion leks in par value last year, compared to 386.83 billion leks in 2007.
