Albania invites bids for road upgrade projects

TIRANA (Albania), September 21 (SeeNews) – The Albanian Development Fund (ADF) said it is inviting sealed bids for three road rehabilitation projects.

The projects comrise reconstruction works on a 15-km road stretch linking Kote to Sevaster, in the Vlore region, a 18.11 km section linking Kruje to Qafe Shtame, in the Durres region, and a 12.79 km section linking Urake, in the Lezhe region, to Ura e Shoshajve, in the Diber region, ADF said in a notice on its website.

ADF will finance the works with part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Investment Bank.

The contracts have a duration of 20 months, 24 months and 18 months, respectively.

Only firms and joint ventures that have been pre-qualified for the proposed contract(s) have been invited to submit bids.

The deadline for filing bids is November 5.
