TIRANA (Albania), October 9 (SeeNews) – The Albanian Development Fund (ADF) said on Tuesday it has invited sealed tenders from contractors for three road rehabilitation projects.

Albania calls tender for upgrades on three road sections

The projects would involve reconstruction works on a 9.6 kilometre road stretch linking Librazhd to Diber, in the region of Elbasan; on the 18.1 kilometre Fier Shegan-Thane-Murrize-Kozare road section in the Fier and Berat regions; and on a 12.6 kilometre road section linking Lushnje to Hysgjokaj, in the Fier region, ADF said in a notice posted on its website.

The bidding deadline is November 26.

The duration of the tendered contracts ranges from four to 21 months.

Only firms and joint ventures that have been pre-qualified for the proposed contracts are invited to submit a tender.

The construction works will be financed with the proceeds from a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
