"The decision is a consequence of the low interest of citizens of southern Serbia to travel to the capital of Hungary, but also of the desire that the said line does not impair the good results of the remaining lines of public interest from Nis," Air Serbia said in a statement on Wednesday.
Air Serbia's first direct flight between Budapest and Nis took off on August 2 after the company won a tender for the operation of subsidised services on 12 international destinations from the Konstantin Veliki Airport.
The average load factor of the 12 lines currently stands at 70%, the company said.
