The carrier expects to receive the aircraft in the coming weeks, Air Serbia said in a LinkedIn post last week.
Air Serbia signed an agreement with Nordic Aviation Capital for the dry-lease of three ATR 72-600 aircraft, bringing its turboprop fleet to ten aircraft, news portal EX-YU Aviation reported last week.
“The optimal size of the ATR72 fleet, I would say, is ten because then you can start benefiting from some economies of scale. The ATRs perform extremely well; they are extremely profitable,” Air Serbia CEO Jiri Marek was quoted as saying.
