March 29 (SeeNews) - Flag carrier Air Serbia is considering launching flights between the capitals of Serbia and Cuba, regional media reported on Wednesday.
Air Serbia’s management held talks with Cuba's Ambassador to Serbia, Leyde Rodriguez Hernandez, on the potential introduction of flights between Belgrade and Havana, news portal EX-YU Aviation reported.
"For us, leisure destinations will be more opportunistic, and by that, I mean niche destinations, not the strategic ones. The market is growing, and the leisure segment is maturing so, sooner or later, it may happen, but it is not a priority for the time being," Air Serbia CEO Jiri Marek was quoted as saying.
