April 12 (SeeNews) - Air Montenegro achieved a profit of 3.47 million euro ($3.70 million) last year, compared to a loss of 2.46 million euro in 2022, it said on Friday.
The company’s revenue amounted to 62.3 million euro in 2023, up 45% on the year, Air Montenegro said in a press release.
The Montenegrin government established the new national air carrier in January 2021 to replace troubled Montenegro Airlines, which will be liquidated.
The airline carried 475,000 passengers in 2023, up 30% on the previous year.
"Our focus will continue to be on generating as much tourist traffic as possible, for the benefit of the economic development of Montenegro,” said CEO Mark Anzur.
