The plan was ultimately assessed as unprofitable for the airline, aviation portal Zamaaero reported.
Last month, Air Montenegro was granted permission to launch seventh-freedom flights from Tuzla to the Dutch city of Maastricht and Turkey's Istanbul. The carrier was, however, denied rights by the relevant authorities for such flights from Sweden, Denmark, Austria and Germany.
The seventh freedom gives an airline the right to fly between two foreign countries on a route that does not begin or end in its state of registration or without making an intermediate stop in its home country.
