February 26 (SeeNews) - The average producer prices of agricultural goods in Croatia fell 3.0% on the year in 2023, the country's statistical office said on Monday.
The prices of crop products were 13.4% lower compared to 2022, due to a 41.7% drop in prices of cereals and a 26.9% decline in prices of industrial plants, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in an annual report.
Producer prices of fresh vegetables went up 21%, prices of flowers and plants increased 6.2%, prices of fruits surged 12.9%, while prices of wine rose 10.2% on the average an an annual basis last year.
The prices of livestock, poultry and animal products increased by 17.2%.
The prices of goods and services used in agriculture fell by 11.9% last year.
