The prices of crop products were 19.4% lower compared to the same quarter of 2022, due to a 50.6% drop in prices of cereals and a 23% decline in prices of industrial plants, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a quarterly report.

Producer prices of fresh vegetables went up 15%, prices of flowers and plants increased 5.9%, prices of fruits surged 4.5%, while prices of wine rose 10.3% on the average in the period under review.

The prices of livestock, poultry and animal products increased by 0.3% on the year.

The prices of goods and services used in agriculture fell by 21.1% due to lower prices of fertilisers and animal food products and energy.
