13 Jul-Plantaze leads Montenegro blue-chip gainers in Oct, share indices end mixed

PODGORICA (Montenegro), November 1 (SeeNews) – Montenegrin state-controlled wine producer 13 Jul-Plantaze [MNG:PLAP] led the blue-chip gainers on the Montenegrin stock exchange in October, as stock indices ended mixed, bourse data indicated.

The blue-chip index of the Montenegro Stock Exchange, MNSE10, closed October at 792.78 points, down 0.88% month-on-month.

The benchmark MONEX index, which tracks the 20 most representative shares on the Montenegro Stock Exchange, rose 2.18% in October, and closed at 11,453.04 points.

13 Jul-Plantaze rose the most among the blue chips in October, adding 8.91% month-on-month to 0.1071 euro, as 28,706 of its shares changed hands in 11 transactions. The company generated a share turnover of 3,073 euro.

Port of Adria [MNG:KOGE] paced the blue-chip decliners in October, as its share price fell 13.06% on the month to 0.1266 euro. A total of 22,732 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 2,877 euro.

Тhe bourse's total turnover declined in October to 2.4 million euro ($2.7 million) from 57.3 million euro a month earlier.

A total of 289 transactions were concluded on the bourse in Podgorica in October, versus 190 in September. Stock market capitalisation was 3.456 billion euro at the end of October, up from 3.443 billion euro a month earlier.
