1985 - Interna Banka na SOZT Jugotutun Banka is established as a supporting bank for the tobacco sector in North Macedonia.
May 27, 1993 - The bank transforms into joint stock company Tutunska Banka AD and receives a banking licence from the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia (NBRM).
March 1996 - Tutunska Banka sets up brokerage Tutunska Broker AD.
December 2000 - The Slovenian bank Nova Ljubljanska Banja d.d. and its Germany-based subsidiary LHB Internationale Handelsbank AG buy a joint 52% stake in Tutunska Banka AD for USD 9.2 mln through the stock exchange. The banks commit to pour another USD 6.6 mln in Tutunska Banka AD in the form of a capital increase.
May 17, 2005 - Tutunska Banka AD and NLB d.d. set up a joint pension management fund Nov Penziski Fond AD, in which Tutunska Banka AD holds 49%.
2006 - The bank renames to NLB Tutunska Banka AD Skopje.
Mar 11, 2008 - The bank receives a banking licence from the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia.
January 2010 - NLB Tutunska Banka AD Skopje's subsidiary NLB Tutunska Broker AD - Skopje is liquidated.
May 2016 - The bank changes its name to NLB Banka AD Skopje.
Dec 12, 2017 - NLB Banka AD Skopje sells its 49% shares in NLB Nov Penziski Fond AD Skopje to the Slovenian reinsurance company Sava RE d.d.
