Oct 16, 1998 - The company is transformed into joint stock company.
2005 - Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) A.D. lists on the New Security Exchange (NEX) of Montenegro Stock Exchange with a stock symbol EPCG.
February 2009 - Goverment of Montenegro called a tender for the sale of an 18.3% stake in the company seeking to secure investments in the company's modernisation.
November 2009 - Italian company A2A S.p.A. acquires a 43.7% stake in Elektroprivreda Crne Gore.
2010 - The company establishes Zeta Energy A.D. - a joint-venture for generation of renewable energy with Norwegian energy utility company Nord-Trondelag Elektrisitetsverk Holding AS.
