August 12 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 5,874.43 points on Friday, just up from its closing value of 5,857.59 points on August 5, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) increased to 60.6 million denars ($1 million/988,320 euro) in five trading sessions this week, compared with 19.7 million denars in four trading sessions last week, MSE data showed. The bourse was closed on August 2 for a public holiday.
Lender Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] contributed the largest single portion of the trading turnover on the MSE this week with 30.8 million denars as 2,579 of the bank's shares changed hands in a total of 97 transactions.
The MSE's OMB bond index closed at 124.87 points, slightly down from last week's 125.29 points.
