March 19 (SeeNews) - Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair will begin flights connecting the Bulgarian coastal city of Burgas to the Polish city of Rzeszow, Fraport Twin Star Airport Management, the operator of Burgas Airport, said on Monday.
The first flight on the route available for booking is scheduled for March 28, Fraport Twin Star Airport Management said in a statement.
The flight will be operated once per week.
Starting from March 27, Ryanair will operate 10 new routes from Burgas: to Dusseldorf Weeze, Frankfurt-Hahn, Krakow, Munich Memmingen, Milan Bergamo, Riga, Bratislava, Tel Aviv, Warsaw Modlin and Kaunas.
In 2006, Fraport Twin Star Airport Management, a 60/40 joint venture of Fraport and Bulgarian company BM Star, won a 35-year concession to manage Bulgaria's Burgas and Varna airports.
