N. Macedonia's Makedonija Osiguruvanje plans 0.55 euro/share dividend for 2023

April 26 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Makedonija Osiguruvanje - Vienna Insurance Group (VIG) [MSE:KJUBI] said on Friday it will propose to its shareholders to distribute a gross dividend of 34 denars ($0.59/0.55 euro) per share for 2023.

The insurer plans to distribute 24.4 million denars as dividend for 2023, it said in a bourse filing.

The proposal will be put to the vote at a shareholders meeting scheduled for May 29.

Last year, Makedonija Osiguruvanje paid a gross dividend of 88 denars per share for 2021 and 2022.

The insurer's net profit decreased 7.3% year-on-year to 37.1 million denars in 2023.

Its shares last traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on March 14, at an average price of 1,237 denars.

Makedonija Osiguruvanje, set up as a state-owned insurer in 1945, became part of Austria's Vienna Insurance Group in 2013.
