April 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's health ministry said on Thursday that the cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the country rose to 449, while the death toll increased by two to ten people.
The number of recoveries also increased to 25 in total, the ministry said in a statement.
A total of 167 of the patients were hospitalised as of Thursday.
The first coronavirus case in Bulgaria was detected on March 8. Bulgaria is currently in a state of emergency due to the virus, as eight people have already died from the disease.
