April 1 (SeeNews) - All share indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed the week higher, with the blue-chip SOFIX index rising the most - by 1.33% to 635.10 points, bourse data showed on Friday.
A 9.29% increase in the share price of Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:CCB] to 1.53 levs contributed most to the rise in the SOFIX.
A total of 214,522 shares in CCB changed hands on Friday.
Earlier on Friday, CEZ Electro Bulgaria [BUL:CEZE], a unit of local energy and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG], said that Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:CCB] has sold its entire stake of 9.96% it held in the capital of the power supplier. CCB no longer holds interest in CEZ Electro, CEZ Electro added.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, went up 0.89% to 146.68 points, mainly supported by CCB's gain.
The BGTR30, under which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, advanced by 0.95% to 741.41 points. The index was positively influenced by a 4.86% increase in resort operator Albena [BUL:ALB], to 30.20 levs, followed by a 4.17% rise in diversified group Chimimport [BUL:CHIM], to a price of 1.02 levs.
The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, added 0.54% to 175.98 points, mainly due to a 1.43% gain in Super Borovets Property Fund REIT [BUL:SBPF], to 2.84 levs.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market fell to 1.3 million levs ($733,200/664,700 euro) from nearly 2 million levs on Thursday.
