January 13 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose on Monday, as shipbuilding company Viktor Lenac [ZSE:VLEN] paced the blue-chip gainers, after falling the most in the previous trading session, bourse data showed.
Viktor Lenac's shares added 2.5% to 8.20 kuna.
Power transmission equipment manufacturer Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV] was the biggest loser among the blue-chip companies on Monday, as its shares fell 3.7% to 5.20 kuna.
Zagrebacka Banka [ZSE:ZABA], the biggest gainer on Friday, generated the biggest trading turnover among the blue chips on Monday - of 1.2 million kuna. The company's shares closed flat at 67 kuna.
Outside of the blue-chips, confectionery producer Kras [ZSE:KRAS] rose sharply by 6.88% to 855 kuna.
ZSE's trading turnover more than doubled to 8.5 million kuna ($1.3 million/1.1 million euro) on Monday from 3.7 million kuna on Friday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index added 0.33% to 2,043.13 after growing 0.38% in the previous trading session.
The narrower of ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, gained 0.49% to 1,213.41 after rising 0.40% on Friday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index lost 0.06% to 115.6810.
