May 7 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 5,076.45 points on Friday, about 0.7% higher compared with its closing value of 5,039.99 on April 29, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) rose to 57.1 million denars ($1.1 million/920,600 euro) in four trading sessions this week from 54.9 million denars in as many trading sessions last week.
The bourse was closed on April 30 and May 3 due to Orthodox Easter.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] contributed the largest single portion of the trading turnover on the MSE this week, of 29.5 million denars, as 3,496 of the lender's shares changed hands in a total of 78 transactions.
The MSE's OMB bond index closed at 133.43 points on May 7, up compared with its closing reading of 133.39 on April 29.
