January 11 (SeeNews) - The main equity index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) extended its winning streak on Tuesday for a thirteenth straight trading session, supported by a rise in the share prices of Hrvatska Postanska Banka [ZSE:HPB], Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] and car parts maker AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL], bourse data showed.
The 21-share blue-chip CROBEX index finished at 2.150,46, up 0.46%, according to ZSE data. The narrower CROBEX10 index which is tracking the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 0.15% to end at 1,301.01 points.
Hrvatska Postanska Banka was the most liquid stock with a turnover of 1.2 million kuna ($181,000/160,000 euro). The lender's share price surged 9.93% to end at 830 kuna.
Index heavyweight Hrvatski Telekom gained 0.54% to end at 185 kuna in a turnover of 851,000 kuna. Shares of AD Plastik rose 4.05% to finish at 180 kuna in a turnover of 582,000 kuna.
Fertiliser producer Petrokemija [ZSE:PTKM] jumped 9.33% to end at 32.80 kuna after the company announced on Tuesday that its management and supervisory boards approved a proposal to delist the shares from the Zagreb bourse. The proposal will be put to the vote by Petrokemija shareholders on February 21.
ZSE's turnover declined to 7.7 million kuna from 8.5 million kuna on Monday.
