April 8 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange's blue-chip SOFIX index registered a third consecutive winning day, closing 0.97% higher at 508.66 points on Thursday.
Lender Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:CCB] saw the largest share price rise among SOFIX members, of 4.12%. Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SGH] and Chimimport [BUL:CHIM] followed with gains of 3.81% and 3.52%, respectively.
Only four of the fifteen SOFIX members closed in red territory on Thursday, with all of them registering slim share price falls.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, rose 0.88% to 114.79 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, advanced 0.70% to 549.08 points.
The BGREIT index, which follows the performance of seven real estate investment trusts, marked its fifth consecutive losing session, falling 1.25% to 143.46 points. The BGREIT was hurt by a 16% plunge in the share price of CCB Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:CCBR] on Thursday.
Total regulated market trading turnover amounted to 3 million levs ($1.8 million/1.5 million euro).
