November 29 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH] has resumed operations at its ammonia production unit after fixing a technical problem, the company said.
Normal operations were restored after commissioning and testing the systems, Neochim said in a bourse filing on Monday.
Neochim also said earlier on Monday that its consolidated net profit surged to 76.1 million levs ($40.3 million/38.9 million euro) in the first nine months of 2022 from 15.9 million levs in the comparable period of 2021. Consolidated revenue jumped to 502.34 million levs from 196.9 million levs, while operating expenses widened to 425.3 million levs from 180.2 million levs.
Neochim announced on November 16 that it is halting the ammonia production due to an unexpected failure in the refrigeration installation.
The company, which has faced several manufacturing issues in the past months, restarted its nitric acid production last week after solving a technical problem.
As at CET 1338 on Tuesday, shares in Neochim traded flat at 42.80 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
