November 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH] has resumed operations at its nitric acid production unit after fixing a technical problem, it said on Tuesday.
The restart of normal production activities comes after a two-week emergency shutdown of the unit, the company said in a bourse filing.
Neochim did not provide an update on its ammonia production unit whose operations had also been halted because of a technical malfunction. According to a previous statement, the company has detected a failure in the refrigeration installation.
As at CET 1604 on Tuesday, shares in Neochim traded 8.78% higher at 44.60 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
