January 3 (SeeNews) - State-owned Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company said it has launched a 3.5 million levs ($2.0 million/1.8 million euro) tender for the development and implementation of an integrated IT platform for the needs of country's ports.
The tender is part of a larger EU-funded project for supply and installation of port equipment, the municipality said in a tender notice on Thursday.
The IT platform will help detect and prevent oil spills.
Bids in the tender will be ranked based on price with a 40% weight and on quality criteria with 60% weight. The deadline for submitting offers is February 6.
