SOFIA (Bulgaria), November 28 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian-based computer graphics developer Chaos Group said it has invested 2 million euro ($2.12 million) in Spanish start-up CL3VER as part of a strategic partnership aimed at building a leading interactive 3D visualization and communication platform.
The platform will be aimed at clients from the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) and design industries, the Sofia-headquartered company said in a press release posted on its website.
“A simple way to communicate and share your design has been a big challenge for a long time. We look forward to helping them solve it,” Chaos Group CEO, Peter Mitev, said in the statement.
The first step in the partnership will be to connect CL3VER’s interactive presentation platform with V-Ray - an industry-standard rendering technology. This way, the presentations will become even more realistic, enabling faster design decisions and better visualizations.
“Together, Chaos Group and CL3VER will introduce a platform that puts two essential tools in one place, so designs can be presented and shared in their best form, at any stage of the process,” Viktor Nordstrom, founder and CEO of CL3VER, said.
Chaos Group is a worldwide leader in computer graphics technology, specializing in physically-based rendering and simulation software.
CL3VER is a Barcelona-based leading provider of real-time 3D in the cloud.
