SOFIA (Bulgaria), May 25 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria has launched a 75 million levs ($43 million/38.3 million euro) tender for the rehabilitation of 87.2 killometres of secondary roads, the government's Road Infrastructure Agency said on Thursday.
The tendering procedure is divided into five subcontracts for sections with lengths varying from 15 to 21 kilometres, RIA said in a statement.
The first three subcontracts envisage the rehabilitation of stretches of road III-663, with lengths of 15.2 kilometres, 15.3 kilometres and 20.2 kilometres. The indicative values of the three contracts are 10.4 million levs, 9.0 million levs and 11.5 million levs, respectively.
The fourth subcontract envisages the rehabilitation of the longest stretch – 21.2 kilometres of road III-866 and has an indicative value of 24.9 million levs. The last subcontract is for the rehabilitation of 15.3 kilometres of the same road and has an indicative price of 19.3 million levs.
The deadline for submitting offers in June 26. Bids will be ranked according to the offered price.
The project will be financed from the 2014-2020 Operational Programme Regions in Growth and Bulgarian co-financing.
