August 19 (SeeNews) - Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air said on Thursday that it will start operating flights from Bulgaria's second-largest city of Plovdiv, in the south of the country, in November.
At the beginning of November, the airline will launch flights on three entirely new routes connecting Plovdiv with London in the UK and the German cities of Dortmund and Memmingen, Wizz Air said in a statement.
Flights on the routes will be operated between two and three times per week.
Wizz Air entered the Bulgarian market in 2005. The airline currently operates flights from the Bulgarian capital Sofia and the coastal cities of Varna and Burgas.
