March 30 (SeeNews) - The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is donating $1.2 million (1.1 million euro) to Bosnia, to assist the country's fight against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak, the US еmbassy in Bosnia said on Monday.
The proceeds should be used to help Bosnia's laboratory systems, activate case-finding and monitoring, support experts, bolster awareness and community engagement, strengthen prevention, the US embassy said in its Twitter account.
Local media reported on Monday that there were 354 confirmed cases of coronavirus disease in Bosnia as of March 30.
