September 28 (SeeNews) - The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) said it signed a memorandum of understanding with the British embassy in Bosnia for the launch of a $5 million (4.3 million euro) digital transformation programme in the Balkan country's public sector.
The four-year programme, to take place from 2020 to 2024, envisages the improvement and modernization of the public services for the citizens of Bosnia, the UNDP said in a statement on Friday.
It will focus on launching new digital solutions, boosting digital skills and capacity in the public sector, as well as introducing new policies and services.
Bosnia is a country of some 3.3 million people.
