September 10 (SeeNews) - Ukrainian low-cost carrier SkyUp Airlines said it will start operating direct flights between Kyiv and Bulgarian capital Sofia as of December 29.
"The planes will depart once a week: at first flights will take place on Wednesday and Tuesday, and then will depart every Thursday," the airline said in a statement on Thursday.
The fleet of Kyiv-based SkyUp Airlines consists of six medium-haul Boeing 737-800 NG aircrafts, two medium-haul Boeing 737-700 NG and four medium-haul Boeing 737-900 ER. The airline will expand its fleet to 18 aircraft in 2022, according to information published on its website.
