December 15 (SeeNews) - Some 3.54 million shares, corresponding to a stake of 0.33% in Romanian blue chip Banca Transilvania changed hands for 7.9 million lei ($2.7 million/1.86 million euro) in a single transaction on the Bucharest Stock Exchange on Tuesday, bourse data showed.
The shares were traded at a price of 2.23 lei each, figures showed. The parties to the deal were not immediately known.

The bank's shares, part of the bourse's blue-chip BET index, was traded 0.88% lower at 2.26 lei by 1133 GMT on Tuesday.
Last week 42.52 million shares of Banca Transilvania, corresponding to a 4.01% stake, changed hands for a combined 102 million lei in five transactions. Also last week, in a separate trading session, nearly 3.44 million shares, equal to a 0.32% stake in the bank were traded for 7.46 million lei.
The bourse did not disclose the identity of the buyers but local media reported that an EU-based bank has acquired the 4.01% stake and plans to raise its holdings in the Romanian bank to 20%.
