June 14 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian water utility company Sofiyska Voda, a unit of France's Veolia Water, said on Thursday that it has appointed Vassil Trenev as its new chief executive officer (CEO).
Vassil Trenev will replace Arnaud Valleteau de Moulliac, who will remain as deputy executive officer of Veolia for Bulgaria until July 16, Sofiyska Voda said in a statement.
Trenev was Sofiyska Voda's deputy executive officer for the past year and a half.
Sofiyska Voda was established in October 2000 under a 25-year concession contract for the operation and maintenance of Sofia's water supply and sewerage system. France's Veolia Water owns 77.1% of the company's share capital, while the Sofia municipality holds a stake of 22.9%, according to data from Sofiyska Voda's website.
