December 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian wholesale data services provider Sofia Connect said it has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with telecommunications company Networx Bulgaria.
Under the partnership deal, Sofia Connect will benefit from Networx Bulgaria's large optical network with multiple access points which covers Romania and the northern part of Bulgaria, the company said in a statement late on Thursday.
Networx Bulgaria will use the Software Defined Network (SDN) services of Sofia Connect allowing them connectivity management control from anywhere and from any device.
"We are extremely excited about the opportunity to announce our collaboration with Networx. We look forward to start working together, I believe that this partnership will be positive for both companies and their customers," Yuliy Nushev, CEO of Sofia Connect, said in the statement.
Earlier in December, Sofia Connect announced a strategic partnership deal with Australia's Megaport under which Sofia Connect will be able to sell Megaport's SDN services using its own customer base across Eastern Europe.
Networx Bulgaria portfolio includes internet, digital, HD and 3D TV, and wireless internet services.
Sofia Connect provides wholesale data services for both carriers and business customers. Its main services include data transport, internet access, co-location and hosting solutions.
