July 27 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip SOFIX index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed 0.81% lower at 563.76 points on Tuesday, mainly dragged down by a 3.85% drop in the share price of financial and insurance company Eurohold [BUL:EUBG].
A total of 12,000 shares in Eurohold traded at an average price of 2.5167 levs on Tuesday, bourse data showed.
Eurohold's decline also affected negatively the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The index fell 0.15% to 602.72 points.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse erased 0.22% to 124.59 points, hurt by 4.55% decrease in the shares of Odessos Shiprepair Yard [BUL:ODES].
Earlier on Tuesday, Odessos Shiprepair Yard said that its net profit fell to 3.1 million levs ($1.8 million/1.6 million euro) in the first half of 2021, compared with 4.1 million levs in the same period of last year.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, rose 0.20% to 159.24 points on the back of a 0.91% increase in the shares of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund [BUL:BREF].
Total turnover on the BSE's main market slumped to 624,165 levs on Tuesday from 4.6 million levs in the previous trading session.
