August 25 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's seasonally-adjusted confidence index in retail trade, manufacturing and construction increased in August compared to the previous month, while confidence in services remained the same, the country's statistics office said on Tuesday.
The seasonally-adjusted confidence index in services in August was unchanged from a month earlier and 9 percentage points up from August 2014, the statistics office said in a statement. The service index was 8 points above the long-term average.
The seasonally-adjusted value of the manufacturing sector confidence index rose by 2 percentage points as compared to July. It was 6 percentage points higher on the year and 10 points above the long-term average.
The August seasonally-adjusted confidence indicator for the retail sector was 11 percentage points higher than a month earlier and 5 points higher than a year ago. The index was 6 point above the long-term average.
The confidence indicator in the construction sector was one percentage point higher on the month and three points lower on the year in August. It was 5 percentage points above the long-term average.
