March 15 (SeeNews) - The average net monthly earnings in Slovenia increased by a real 1.0% on the year in January, after growing by a real 3.2% in December, provisional data from the country's statistical office showed on Wednesday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage rose 2.3% year-on-year, reaching 1,039.12 euro ($1,103.6) in January, the data showed.
On a monthly comparison basis, net wages dropped by a real 2.7% in January, after edging down 0.7% in December.
The average gross monthly salary in Slovenia was 1,592.15 euro in January, up by a nominal 2.1% year-on-year.
In real terms, gross wages increased 0.8% year-on-year and were 3.1% lower on the month in January, after increasing 3.2% on the year and dropping 1.5% on the month in December.
