May 15 (SeeNews) - The average net monthly earnings in Slovenia edged up by a real 0.2% on the year in March, after decreasing by an annual 1.0% in February, provisional data from the country's statistical office showed on Monday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage rose 2.1% year-on-year, reaching 1,055.85 euro ($1,155.28) in March, the data showed.
On a monthly comparison basis, net wages climbed by a real 1.7% in March, after falling 1.5% in February.
The average gross monthly salary in Slovenia was 1,623.57 euro in March, up by a nominal 1.9% year-on-year.
In real terms, gross wages remained unchanged year-on-year and were an 2.3% higher on the month in March, after dropping 1.7% both on annual and monthly comparison basis in February.
