LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), November 21 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in Slovenia in October increased by 9% month-on-month to 583, after decreasing by 17% in September, the office of national statistics said.
A total of 276 permits were issued for residential buildings in October, up 20% on the month, while 307 permits were issued for non-residential buildings, an increase of 2% compared to September, the statistical office said in a statement on Tuesday.
The total floor area of buildings, for which permits were issued in October, was 137,335 sq m, down 16% in comparison with September.
The construction of 348 dwellings was planned, a rise of 43% over September.
