July 20 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Slovenia in June dropped 31% month-on-month, reaching 375, the office of national statistics said on Thursday.
A total of 125 permits were issued for residential buildings in June, down 36% month-on-month, while 250 permits were issued for non-residential buildings, down 29%, the statistical office said in a statement.
In June, the construction of 188 dwellings was planned, 10% fewer than in May.
The combined area of the buildings, for which permits were issued in June, totalled 102,594 sq m, a drop of 34% month-on-month.
